Job Description

**Job Title** Restructuring Lawyer **Role Summary** Provide legal support for mid‑market and high‑quality transactional restructuring matters as part of a city‑based ranked team. 12‑month engagement with potential for full‑time or part‑time commitment, hybrid working model (2‑3 days a week in London office). **Expectations** • Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in restructuring law. • Proficiency in advising distressed transactions, corporate restructuring, and formal insolvency processes. • Ability to work within a team, supporting a partner and collaborating with insolvency practitioners and debt finance specialists. • Flexibility to fit a hybrid schedule and adapt to full‑time or pro‑rata arrangements. **Key Responsibilities** - Advise clients (early‑stage businesses, national/international brands, insolvency practitioners) on transactional restructuring solutions. - Draft, review, and negotiate restructuring agreements and related legal documents. - Assist in distressed transaction structuring and strategic advisory across the full insolvency spectrum. - Coordinate with debt finance teams on related matters when required. - Deliver timely, accurate legal opinions and support to senior partners. **Required Skills** - Strong technical legal knowledge in restructuring and insolvency. - Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales or a comparable Commonwealth jurisdiction (e.g., Australia, New Zealand). - Relevant UK‑based restructuring experience with a focus on mid‑market work.。
