Senior Solutions Engineer (Remote Europe)
**Role Summary**
Provide technical pre‑sales leadership for enterprise customers of a no‑code workflow orchestration platform. Partner with sales to conduct discovery, craft tailored demos, own end‑to‑end proof‑of‑concepts (POCs), and translate complex technical requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable deployment strategies.
**Expectations**
- 6 + years in B2B SaaS sales engineering or technical pre‑sales, with direct enterprise engagement.
- Strong commercial acumen: translate customer needs into scalable solutions and support deal strategy.
- Proven ability to build relationships with IT, security, and infrastructure stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup environment with broad responsibilities and occasional travel.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Lead enterprise technical discovery calls and deep‑dive sessions, positioning the platform for complex use cases.
2. Create and deliver customized demos grounded in real customer workflows, addressing scalability, security, and reliability.
3. Own the enterprise PoC lifecycle: scope success criteria, manage implementation, provide hands‑on guidance, and capture learnings for qualification and handoff.
4. Serve as the primary technical liaison during evaluations, building relationships across IT, security, platform, and engineering teams.
5. Articulate platform security, deployment, governance, and scaling models to help customers plan adoption beyond initial use cases.
6. Collaborate with sales to refine discovery processes, demo frameworks, and POC templates.
7. Provide structured feedback from customers to product and engineering, contributing to enablement materials that strengthen enterprise sales motions.
**Required Skills**
- **Sales Engineering:** 6 + years in technical pre‑sales for enterprise SaaS.
- **Communication:** Clear, concise articulation of complex concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences, confident engagement with enterprise stakeholders.
- **Commercial Acumen:** Translate requirements into scalable solutions, manage objections, and influence deal outcomes.
- **Relationship Building:** Build and maintain strong ties with infrastructure and security teams.
- **Technical Proficiency:**
- API integration, OAuth, and authentication/authorization concepts.
- Scripting with JavaScript and/or Python for demos and integrations.
- Containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and application integration.
- Networking fundamentals, security best practices, and observability.
- **Cloud & Infrastructure:** Solid understanding of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and common services in modern SaaS architectures.
- **Startup Experience:** Thrives in high‑ownership, fast‑paced environments, comfortable wearing multiple hats.
- **Travel‑Ready:** Willingness to travel for onboarding and stakeholder sessions as needed.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Preferred certifications (not mandatory): AWS Certified Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
**Nice‑to‑Have (not required)**
- Experience or strong familiarity with AI/LLM platforms, RAG, or related automation technologies.
