**Job Title**
Business Analyst – Cloud Infrastructure (Telco)
**Role Summary**
Act as a specialized Business Analyst for Cloud Infrastructure, leading the design, deployment, and evolution of an automated SDN POPV2 cloud platform using Red Hat/OpenShift. Translate business needs into technical solutions, coordinate between stakeholders and development teams, and oversee testing, deployment, and documentation of infrastructure enhancements.
**Expectations**
* 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst focused on cloud infrastructure and automation.
* Proven ability to bridge business requirements and technical delivery in telecom or IT environments.
* Strong command of Linux systems, networking, containerization, and automation tools.
* Effective communicator in English (written and spoken) with a collaborative approach.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Gather migration and functional requirements, capture data sources and lifecycles, and propose solutions to business and technical teams.
2. Design migration paths and SDN POPV2 enhancements, converting them into user stories for development sprints.
3. Facilitate the development team, coordinating with Epic Owners/Tech Leads to ensure alignment.
4. Enhance data quality for business users by recommending controls, automation, and processes.
5. Provide day‑to‑day support to business units within the infrastructure domain.
6. Formalize and evolve process documentation, contributing to continuous improvement.
7. Lead IT and network acceptance testing, coordinate business testing, and manage production releases with appropriate communication.
8. Prepare user documentation for new infrastructure features.
**Required Skills**
* Expertise in Linux operating systems.
* In‑depth knowledge of telecom IT networks and IP networking.
* Proficiency with virtualization and container platforms: Kubernetes, OpenShift, OpenStack, Docker, VMware.
* Scripting and automation: Python, Ansible, Terraform (or equivalent).
* Experience using CI/CD tools: GitLab, Jenkins, or similar.
* Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
* Excellent written and spoken English.
* Curiosity and passion for emerging technologies.
* Team‑orientated collaboration and interpersonal skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
* Engineering diploma or professional qualification in IT/Telecom preferred.
* Certifications in cloud, DevOps, or networking (e.g., Red Hat Certified Engineer, Kubernetes Admin, AWS/Azure certifications) an advantage.
