Job Description
Job Title: Digital Transformation Sales Engineer (M/F) Role Summary: Lead and expand sales of digital transformation solutions—including PLM, MOM, IoT, CAD—within key industrial sectors (aerospace, defense, energy, automotive). Build long‑term client relationships, collaborate with technical and pre‑sales teams, and drive end‑to‑end sales cycles from prospecting to contract execution. Expectations: • Achieve and exceed quarterly revenue and KPI targets. • Independently manage a portfolio of key accounts and new opportunities. • Deliver tailored proposals that align with customer business challenges and technical constraints. • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and partnership leverage. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute the commercial strategy for digital transformation offerings. - Prospect, identify, and qualify new corporate clients in targeted industries. - Partner with technical and pre‑sales teams to design customer‑specific solutions. - Conduct client visits, stakeholder interviews, and product demonstrations. - Negotiate complex, multi‑product contracts and ensure technical and commercial feasibility. - Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and contractual documentation. - Manage post‑sale support activities, including contract monitoring and upsell opportunities. - Maintain relationships with partner vendors and third‑party solution providers. - Perform market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify trends and opportunities. - Produce regular activity reports and update sales forecasting against KPIs. Required Skills: - Proven sales experience in industrial software solutions (PLM, MOM, IoT) with a focus on project‑based sales. - Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. - Self‑driven, results‑oriented, and able to work autonomously. - Team player with capability to influence cross‑functional partners. - Fluent in English (written, spoken). - Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office Suite. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field. - Minimum of 5 years of sale‑cycle experience handling software licensing or IT services. - Professional certifications in sales methodology (e.g., SPIN Selling, MEDDIC) are an advantage.
