Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior Information Security Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead and coordinate the security of information systems across a large financial group. Responsible for risk assessment, security architecture design, implementation of security controls, incident management, and vendor security oversight. Engage with business units, IT teams, and external partners to embed security into projects and operations. **Expectations:** - 4‑10 years of experience in IT security or security architecture. - Strong ownership of end‑to‑end security lifecycle. - Proficiency in cloud security, risk analysis, and security operation processes. - Demonstrated ability to influence cross‑functional teams and guide security strategy. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Evaluate IT projects and enterprise assets for security risks. 2. Conduct risk analysis, supplier security reviews, and cloud data outsourcing assessments. 3. Provide security guidance and finalize security assessments for business initiatives. 4. Organize and lead security audits and cyber maturity assessments. 5. Maintain risk cartography and track exposure over time. 6. Draft and oversee security action plans, including remediation tracking. 7. Deploy risk reduction measures and monitor their effectiveness. 8. Detect and respond to security incidents, including data leakage. 9. Lead security awareness and training programs for users. 10. Advise business and IT on security-related project decisions. 11. Respond to security requests for proposals (RFPs). 12. Contribute to innovation through Proof of Concept (PoC) projects on security solutions. 13. Execute annual and ad‑hoc control plans; monitor third‑party vendor security. **Required Skills:** - Design and implementation of security architectures for complex projects. - Cloud security strategies (Infrastructure, Platform, and SaaS). - Deep knowledge of security standards (ISO 27000 series, NIST, etc.). - Project management and cross‑functional leadership. - Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving. - Excellent written and oral communication in English. - Team collaboration and customer‑service orientation. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Engineering or university degree with focus on computer science or information technology. - Cybersecurity certification such as ISO 270xx, CISM, CISSP (preferred).
