Job Title: Product Design Intern, Summer 2026
Role Summary:
Assist the Enterprise Design team in creating and refining web‑based tools, dashboards, and internal applications that streamline enterprise workflows across streaming, content operations, media, and business intelligence. Work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to design intuitive, data‑driven solutions that enhance employee productivity and operational efficiency.
Expectations:
- 12‑week full‑time engagement (Mon‑Fri, 40 hrs/week).
- Current undergraduate enrollment in an accredited program, with proof of continuing enrollment after the internship.
- Minimum age 18; eligible for unrestricted work authorization.
- Reliable, consistent schedule and self‑contained accommodation arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design clean, high‑fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and visual assets for internal tools.
- Conduct user research, synthesize data, and translate findings into functional design solutions.
- Align design decisions with business goals and technical constraints.
- Iterate on concepts across multiple fidelity levels, from sketches to interactive prototypes.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business partners to define requirements and deliver functional designs.
- Validate solutions through usability testing and stakeholder feedback.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, XD), or comparable design tools.
- Strong understanding of user‑centered design principles and iterative development.
- Data‑informed decision‑making mindset; ability to interpret analytics to guide design.
- Clear, concise communication—both verbal and visual—across cross‑functional teams.
- Critical thinking, problem‑solving, and a commitment to design excellence.
- Demonstrated portfolio or case studies illustrating end‑to‑end design process.
- Self‑motivated, collaborative, and adaptable to emerging technologies.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s in Product Design, UX Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Visual Communications, or a closely related field.
- Current enrollment in at least one course during the semester preceding internship; must re‑enroll after internship concludes.
- No formal certification required; preference for candidates with familiarity in design research, prototyping, and usability testing.
