**Job Title:** Social Media Strategist
**Role Summary:**
Lead the organic social media function for a fast‑growing music‑tech platform, shaping brand voice, visual aesthetic, and content cadence across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Drive community growth, creator acquisition, and revenue by turning social engagement into measurable business outcomes.
**Expectations:**
- Own the end‑to‑end organic social strategy and calendar.
- Deliver consistent follower growth, high engagement rates, and qualified referral traffic.
- Generate creator sign‑ups and product orders directly attributable to social campaigns.
- Meet quarterly KPIs for reach, conversion, and revenue impact.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and execute a multi‑platform content plan (short‑form videos, reels, carousels, threads, stories).
- Produce or commission scroll‑stopping assets that encourage shares, saves, and community interaction.
- Define and maintain the brand’s social voice and visual style.
- Build and nurture an engaged community of independent artists, labels, and music fans through active commenting, DMs, and live interactions.
- Identify, pitch, negotiate, and manage micro‑ to mid‑tier creator and influencer partnerships.
- Convert social engagement into concrete business results via clear calls‑to‑action and tracked links.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize performance using GA4, native platform insights, and attribution models.
- Collaborate with SEO, product, and broader marketing teams to align social content with overall growth initiatives.
- Extract insights from audience feedback to inform content themes, outreach, and product enhancements.
- Stay current on platform trends, cultural moments, and emerging formats within the music and creator ecosystems.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years of hands‑on social media strategy and execution, with a proven record of viral organic growth.
- Expertise in Gen Z‑centric tactics: trending audio, memes, pop‑culture hijacks, and spontaneous short‑form video.
- Demonstrated ability to translate social activity into sign‑ups, referrals, and revenue (trackable KPIs).
- Experience managing creator/influencer campaigns from outreach to delivery, preferably in music or creator‑economy niches.
- Strong analytical proficiency with GA4, platform analytics, link tracking, and social SEO.
- Excellent written, visual, and storytelling capabilities.
- Passion for independent music, vinyl/CD culture, and creator communities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred: certifications such as Meta Blueprint, Google Analytics, or similar social‑media/analytics credentials.
