**Job Title:** Cyber Security Solutions Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, deliver, and remediate secure IT solutions for multiple clients in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. Act as a technical advisor throughout pre‑sales, solution design, implementation, and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client security frameworks.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver secure, practical designs that balance technical excellence with commercial viability.
- Provide hands‑on implementation and remediation of security controls across Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
- Communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, NCSC) and emerging technologies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Pre‑Sales & Solution Design (≈40%)**
- Gather client requirements and translate them into secure technical recommendations.
- Produce High‑Level Design (HLD) documents following company standards.
- Present designs to stakeholders and support account teams with proposals, scopes, and statements of work.
2. **Security Remediation & Infrastructure Delivery (≈20%)**
- Implement security improvements and remediate vulnerabilities in on‑premises and cloud environments.
- Deploy and tune security controls for Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Server.
- Collaborate with Consulting and Security Operations to prioritize remediation based on risk.
3. **Security Standards & Assurance (≈40%)**
- Align solutions with frameworks such as Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, and NCSC guidance.
- Conduct security reviews, readiness assessments, and provide improvement recommendations.
- Contribute to internal documentation, baselines, and reusable secure design patterns.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong experience with Microsoft stack: Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure.
- Knowledge of identity and access management (MFA, Conditional Access).
- Hands‑on experience in vulnerability remediation and security hardening.
- Familiarity with security tools (endpoint protection, email security, NGFW) and preferably SIEM (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel).
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and conduct self‑directed research.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; professional presentation.
- Customer‑focused problem solving and teamwork orientation.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant certifications are advantageous (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Security Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, CompTIA Security+, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer).
