Job Title: Information Security Engineer
Role Summary:
Drive the security posture of the organization by designing, deploying, and managing endpoint, network, cloud, and SOC solutions. Collaborate across Infrastructure, Security Engineering, and Architecture to detect, remediate, and automate security controls, ensuring compliance with internal standards and industry frameworks.
Expectations:
- Strengthen enterprise security through EDR, DLD, CSPM, NSM, and SIEM/SOAR technologies.
- Identify and remediate misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, and gaps in security controls.
- Support incident response and on‑call duties as required.
- Maintain compliance with KPI and risk indicators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and manage EDR/DLD/CSPM/NSM solutions for endpoint, virtualization, cloud, and network environments.
- Conduct configuration reviews, vulnerability assessments, and patch management across enterprise assets.
- Analyze security events, respond to incidents, and process technical change requests for infrastructure and engineering teams.
- Map system defenses and monitoring to threat frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP) to build effective countermeasures.
- Develop and maintain programmatic automation scripts (Python, PowerShell, VBScript, etc.) for security system updates.
- Contribute to technical writing for security policies, standards, and documentation aligned with NIST, CIS, ISO 27001.
- Participate in risk management activities, reviewing asset configurations and scan results.
Required Skills:
- 3–5 years of experience in security analysis, security engineering, or network security engineering.
- Proficiency with EDR/DLD, CSPM, NSM, SIEM, SOAR, and related enterprise security platforms.
- Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and OWASP frameworks.
- Programming skills in Python, C, C++, C#, PowerShell, or VBScript for automation.
- Ability to analyze and implement enterprise security concepts and controls.
- Experience in a results‑oriented, deadline‑driven environment.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience in computer science or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in security roles.
