About the Company

GoFibre is a Scottish independent broadband builder and provider, bringing ultra-fast, affordable and reliable broadband to homes and businesses across Scotland and the north of England.

GoFibre is the trading name for GoFibre Holdings Ltd. Founded in 2017 in the Scottish Borders town of Duns. The company secured an investment of PS164 million in early 2022 from Gresham House's Sustainable Infrastructure strategy (BSIF), to accelerate its rollout of full fibre broadband throughout Scotland and the north of England.

In autumn 2022 GoFibre was awarded two multi-million-pound contracts under the UK Government's Project Gigabit for Durham-Teesdale and North Northumberland. Project Gigabit is the UK Government's programme enabling hard-to-reach communities to access gigabit-capable broadband.

GoFibre now has more 120,000 homes and businesses ready-for-service across more than 30 local areas. For more information, please see gofibre.co.uk/locations

The company is headquartered in Edinburgh, with engineering depots in Berwick-Upon-Tweed and West Auckland.

In July 2023, GoFibre launched the GoFurther Fund with the goal of supporting charities, community groups and other organisations within key build communities.

In 2024, GoFibre earned recognition as a highly commended Borders Business in the Scottish Borders Business Excellence Awards 2024.

With GoFibre, residential customers can access speeds of between 150Mbps and 1Gbps, with pricing starting from only PS29 per month. Individuals and businesses can check availability and register their interest in full fibre broadband by visiting gofibre.co.uk/check
