Job Description: Job Title: SAP Solutions Consultant Role Summary Provide pre‑sales SAP integration expertise for a spend‑management platform, guiding prospects and customers through SAP ERP/HCM integration, translating technical requirements into business value, and collaborating with sales, engineering, and customer success teams to refine integration capabilities. Expectations Serve as a trusted SAP consultant during pre‑sales conversations; advise finance and IT stakeholders on best practices; support onboarding of large customers with complex SAP requirements; continually improve integration features and documentation. Key Responsibilities - Lead pre‑sales discussions on SAP integration with prospects, demonstrating value to finance and IT teams. - Translate customers’ SAP landscapes (S/4 HANA, ECC, SAP HCM, SuccessFactors) into actionable technical integration plans. - Advise on configuration of SAP modules for expense data flow—journal entries, vendor postings, cost centers, employee master data, tax details, etc. - Recommend and evaluate integration methods (IDoc, BAPI, API, IPaaS, CPI, SAP PI/PO) and work with engineering to implement enhancements. - Support technical onboarding and implementation for large customers with deep SAP needs. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, customer success, and engineering to ensure alignment of features, messaging, and delivery. - Communicate complex SAP concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Required Skills - 2+ years of proven experience with SAP ERP (S/4 HANA or ECC) and SAP HCM/SuccessFactors. - Functional knowledge of key SAP modules and ability to map business processes to integration requirements. - Understanding of integration approaches (IDoc, BAPI, API, IPaaS, cloud integration services). - Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to explain technical topics to business and IT stakeholders. - Prior customer‑facing or consulting experience. - Working proficiency in English (C1+); additional languages a plus. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience. - SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA) are strongly preferred. - Familiarity with expense‑management software or IPaaS tools is a plus.
