Job Description
Job title: Backup Administrator (F/M) Role Summary: Deploy, configure, and maintain backup infrastructures for clients and internal environments. Job Description
**Job Title:** Virtualization Engineer (Expert) – F/H **Role Summary:** Responsible for the administration, operational maintenance, and continuous improvement of virtualization platforms within a managed services environment. Executes design, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Nutanix, VMware, and related infrastructure while ensuring service quality and performance. **Expectations:** - Minimum 3 years of experience in virtualization engineering or a comparable role. - Proven expertise with Nutanix and VMware (including vSAN). - Strong background in Linux systems, storage solutions, and hardware (HPE, Dell). - Ability to resolve complex technical issues, perform capacity planning, and script automation (Bash, Ansible, etc.). - Familiarity with datacenter or multi‑tenant environments is a plus. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct consulting and audit missions for client environments. - Install, configure, and commission hardware and software per service offers and best practices. - Define technical prerequisites; deploy, configure, and validate solutions for various projects. - Implement monitoring, reporting, and supervision components. - Develop tools and procedures for industrial‑scale platform administration. - Manage change and service requests; participate in incident resolution and problem solving. - Ensure platform stability and performance; perform integration checks with other technical and functional layers. - Propose and execute optimization and tuning actions. - Contribute to continuous improvement of methods, documentation, knowledge base, and technology watch. - Produce regular activity reports for stakeholders. **Required Skills:** - Nutanix and VMware (including vSAN) architecture and administration. - Linux system administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu). - Storage technologies and concepts. - Hardware expertise with HPE and Dell server platforms. - Scripting/automation: Bash, Ansible (or similar). - Capacity planning and performance tuning. - Monitoring and reporting tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana). - Strong problem‑analysis and incident‑resolution abilities. - Good communication skills for client interaction and reporting. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Preferred certifications: VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP), Linux certifications (RHCE, LPIC), or comparable.
