**Job title:** Data Scientist
**Role Summary:**
An experienced Data Scientist will design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and scalable analytical solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on transforming large volumes of data into business insights, building real‑time analytics pipelines, and ensuring model production through MLOps practices.
**Expections:**
- 5+ years of professional data science experience with large‑scale datasets.
- Proven track record of end‑to‑end model development, from data preparation to deployment in production.
- Strong collaboration with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders in Agile settings.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, and deploy machine‑learning and deep‑learning models using Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, Scikit‑learn).
- Build distributed computing workflows in Azure Databricks and orchestrate data pipelines with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Stream Analytics.
- Create and maintain data storage solutions using Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, and Blob Storage.
- Perform data exploration, visualization, and documentation in Jupyter Notebooks.
- Translate business requirements into data‑driven solutions in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
- Apply data governance, model validation, and MLOps best practices for scalable model deployment.
- Monitor industry trends in AI, cloud, and big‑data technologies, proposing improvements to the technology stack.
**Required Skills:**
- Programming: Python (advanced), SQL, familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases.
- Machine Learning: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn, Hugging Face Transformers.
- Azure Cloud: Azure Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Stream Analytics, Data Lake, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database.
- Big‑data and real‑time analytics experience.
- MLOps: CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps (preferred).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in Agile, cross‑functional development environments.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate (preferred).
- Additional certifications in Azure Solutions, MLOps, or Cloud Architecture are a plus.
