Job Description
Job title: Head of Account Management – SMB, Europe Role Summary: Lead and scale the Small‑and‑Medium‑Business (SMB) account management organization across multiple European markets. Oversee ~10 Account Executives, set sales standards, optimize pipelines, and partner with cross‑functional teams to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Expectations: • Deliver measurable revenue and activity goals for the SMB portfolio. • Maintain a disciplined pipeline with accurate forecasting. • Cultivate a high‑performance sales culture and onboard new talent. • Ensure compliance with pricing, margin, and operational processes. Key Responsibilities: • Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of Account Executives. • Set and monitor individual and team performance metrics; conduct reviews & corrective actions. • Recruit, onboard, and foster the career development of new hires. • Own pipeline governance, opportunity standards, and forecasting accuracy across regions. • Conduct periodic pipeline reviews, drive deal velocity and win rates. • Maximize revenue expansion within existing accounts. • Define and refine SMB sales processes, KPIs, and reporting frameworks. • Ensure CRM hygiene and alignment between sales and production workflows. • Collaborate with Production, SDR, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Sales Operations to reduce quote turnaround, improve delivery quality, and uphold margin targets. • Act as escalation point for major client issues and negotiate complex contracts. • Monitor market trends and competitor activity; translate insights into actionable strategies. • Support European go‑to‑market initiatives and cross‑regional alignment. Required Skills: • 7+ years in B2B sales with proven leadership in SMB/mid‑market. • Experience managing multi‑country sales teams and driving revenue growth. • Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity qualification. • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce or equivalent). • Excellent coaching, negotiation, and cross‑functional influence. • Data‑driven, structured decision‑making. • Entrepreneurial, resilient, and results‑oriented mindset. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred). • Professional certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified, Certified Professional Sales Leader) desirable.
