**Job title** Node.js / TypeScript Engineer – Developer Tools & Libraries **Role Summary** Design, build, and maintain a type‑safe, high‑performance TypeScript SDK that enables external developers to integrate with an AI platform. Own end‑to‑end development, from API design to documentation and testing, ensuring a seamless developer experience. **Expectations** - Produce well‑documented, reusable libraries for external consumption. - Deliver clean, performant code with rigorous type safety. - Collaborate with front‑end, research, and product teams to shape API design. - Establish automated testing, CI pipelines, and continuous improvement processes. **Key Responsibilities** - Own design, implementation, and maintenance of the core TypeScript SDK. - Develop developer‑friendly APIs, leveraging advanced TypeScript features (e.g., generics, conditional types, proxies). - Write clear documentation, usage guides, and code examples to accelerate SDK adoption. - Optimize performance, reliability, and type safety across the SDK. - Create and enforce testing strategies (unit, integration) and CI/CD workflows. - Gather and act on feedback from internal and external developers to iterate on features. - Communicate effectively across engineering, research, and product teams. **Required Skills** - Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript (including type‑level programming). - Experience building and maintaining SDKs, libraries, or developer APIs. - Familiarity with clean interface design patterns for developer‑facing tools. - Solid written and verbal communication skills. - Demonstrated ability to own projects from design to release. - Bonus: JavaScript build tools, npm packaging, API design standards, and/or familiarity with Python. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. ---
