Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI solutions to deliver actionable insights for a customer‑centric energy retail business. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality dashboards, lead BI initiatives, coach junior analysts, and ensure data governance and visualization standards are met. Key Responsibilities: - Build and optimize Power BI reports and dataflows using DAX, Power Query, and workspace management. - Develop dimensional models (star schema) and support data warehousing solutions. - Mentor and coach BI analyst teams; drive best practices and performance metrics. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into analytical solutions, and present insights. - Implement data governance, security, and visualization standards across BI artifacts. - Participate in Agile sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives. - Integrate and manage data from Databricks on AWS and other sources. Required Skills: - Advanced Power BI (DAX, Power Query, dataflows, workspace). - Dimensional modeling (star schema). - SQL programming. - Databricks (AWS). - Data warehousing concepts. - Agile methodology (Sprint). - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management. - Experience in data governance and visualization standards. Required Education & Certifications: - Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Management, Data Science, or related field.
