Job Description
**Job title:** Senior Security Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, implement, and oversee enterprise security protocols and operations to protect information assets and networks. Acts as the internal security advocate, fostering a secure culture and ensuring timely incident response and continuous improvement of security posture. **Expectations:** - Lead and own the delivery of security services across the organization. - Maintain up‑to‑date governance, policies, and procedures aligned with industry best practices. - Demonstrate proactive threat detection and incident management. - Provide regular reports and post‑incident documentation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Strategically design and implement security policies, standards, and controls. - Monitor networks and systems for breaches, intrusions, and anomalous activity. - Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and system hardening. - Investigate, document, and report security incidents and breaches, assessing impact and recommending mitigations. - Manage security tools, software deployments, and patching schedules. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on security integration in projects and new initiatives. - Deliver training, awareness, and guidance to stakeholders on security best practices. **Required Skills:** - In‑depth knowledge of security principles, techniques, and protocols. - Expertise with Microsoft and Azure environments (public and private cloud). - Proven ability in incident response, threat hunting, vulnerability management, and security operations. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities. - Ability to influence and lead without direct authority. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant Microsoft/Azure security certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Microsoft 365 Security Administrator Associate). - Minimum 3 years of experience as a Security Engineer or comparable role.
