Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager MOA/AMOA – Recovery & Insurance Contracts Role Summary: Lead the functional and technical implementation of system enhancements for recovery and IARD insurance contracts. Coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders, produce specifications, ensure alignment with the broader information system, manage testing and change management activities, and support adoption of new solutions. Expectations: - Perform requirements gathering and analysis for recovery and contract management functions. - Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables. - Draft functional specifications, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria. - Drive project execution, monitor progress, and report to senior stakeholders. - Develop user guides, conduct training, and facilitate change management. - Communicate effectively in English and French across internal and external meetings. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze business needs of recovery and contract teams. - Scope and plan projects, establishing goals and key activities. - Write functional specifications and general solution specifications. - Ensure proposed evolutions align with the overall information system architecture. - Lead project coordination with central functional departments (e.g., Production). - Design and conduct acceptance testing, including scenario creation and execution. - Produce user documentation and provide training when required. - Present to and facilitate internal or external meetings on tracked projects. - Participate in related initiatives (e.g., claims management projects). Required Skills: - Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities. - Excellent technical writing and documentation skills. - Project management proficiency, including planning, monitoring, and stakeholder management. - Knowledge of functional testing and scenario development. - Change management and user training experience. - Effective communication in English (spoken & written). - Team collaboration, adaptability, and proactive problem‑solving. Required Education & Certifications: - Master’s degree (or equivalent) in business, engineering, information systems, or related field. - Minimum 3 years of experience managing similar projects in the IARD insurance domain. - Proven understanding of IARD insurance processes is a plus. - English language proficiency.
