Job Title: Development Intern – .NET / Java / PHP
Role Summary:
Intern tasked with contributing to end‑to‑end software development lifecycle in dynamic projects. Working under senior developers, the role includes requirements analysis, feature implementation, database interaction, testing, documentation, and collaboration within Agile teams.
Expectations:
- Minimum 3‑month internship, full‑time commitment.
- Current student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related engineering discipline (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent).
- Strong foundational knowledge of object‑oriented programming in at least one of Java, .NET, or PHP.
- Curious, self‑motivated, eager to learn new technologies, and comfortable working in a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand business requirements with analysts and project stakeholders.
- Design, code, and maintain features in .NET, Java, or PHP according to specifications.
- Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) for data storage and retrieval.
- Participate in unit, integration, and functional testing; contribute to test documentation.
- Create and maintain development documentation and user guides.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional team members (project managers, QA, UX/UI) to deliver quality solutions.
- Follow Agile/Scrum practices, attend stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Continuously improve coding standards, adopt best practices, and seek mentorship.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in OOP with Java, .NET, or PHP.
- Basic experience with relational databases (SQL).
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Understanding of Agile methodology and software development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Enrolled in or graduated with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or engineering degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
