Job title: Lead ServiceNow Developer
Role Summary: Senior technical lead responsible for owning, expanding, and maturing the ServiceNow platform for a large banking client. Acts as a bridge between deep technical expertise and business objectives, driving architecture, integrations, CMDB, SAM, service mapping, automation, reporting, audit readiness, documentation, and team leadership.
Expactations: • 10+ years overall experience with significant ServiceNow development.
• Proven expertise in cloud‑based ServiceNow integrations, CMDB, SAM, and troubleshooting data issues.
• Strong experience in multiple Service Mapping methodologies (top‑down, tag‑based, dynamic, manual).
• Deep knowledge of how ServiceNow capabilities translate into business value.
• Leadership and stakeholder management skills, comfortable addressing technical and business audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, technical documentation skills.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and resourceful.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and govern the ServiceNow platform; design, build, and enhance solutions.
- Lead platform expansion to support increased usage, reporting, audit, and integration requirements.
- Implement governance, controls, and security for the platform as a core system of record.
- Drive automation and streamlining initiatives to reduce manual effort.
- Lead and troubleshoot cloud‑based integrations, ensuring reliable data flow and diagnosing failures.
- Own CMDB and SAM, advancing configuration and asset data accuracy.
- Execute advanced Service Mapping projects across various methodologies.
- Enable and refine reporting for audit and compliance needs.
- Maintain rigorous technical and operational documentation.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring SLA adherence.
- Mentor and develop a small team of junior developers.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years overall experience, 5+ years hands‑on ServiceNow development.
- Expertise in ServiceNow integrations (cloud), troubleshooting, and data governance.
- CMDB and SAM ownership experience.
- Service Mapping (top‑down, tag‑based, dynamic, manual).
- Strong technical documentation, leadership, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal).
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, resourceful.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (preferred).
- Certifications such as Certified Solution Architect or ServiceNow Platform Developer (preferred).
