Job Description: **Job Title** Software Developer (Platform Services) **Role Summary** Build high‑performance, scalable services for a large‑scale iGaming platform. Design and implement REST‑APIs, develop the universal game launcher (GX‑Console) and related backend services, and contribute to a cloud‑native microservices architecture using TypeScript/Node.js. **Expectations** - 2–5 years of software engineering in production environments. - Deliver production‑ready code daily and participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical estimation. - Maintain rigorous code quality through reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing. - Communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams and mentor others when needed. - Keep abreast of emerging technologies relevant to high‑throughput, regulated digital entertainment services. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance REST APIs that handle thousands of requests per second. - Extend and optimize the GX‑Console and related backend‑for‑frontend services. - Participate in architecture discussions, propose improvements to microservice design, and drive scalability and reliability initiatives. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the platform. - Contribute to CI/CD automation, Git‑based workflows, and continuous delivery processes. - Engage in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and support hiring through technical interviews. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java with strong object‑oriented programming fundamentals. - Node.js backend development experience. - Design and implementation of RESTful services and distributed systems. - Familiarity with AWS or comparable cloud environments. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture. - CI/CD pipeline configuration and automation tools. - Git and Git‑based workflow practices. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Experience or knowledge of regulated industries such as iGaming or sports betting is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience). - AWS Certified Developer, Solutions Architect, or other cloud‑related certifications preferred.
