Job Description
**Job Title** Senior Pre‑Sales Engineer – Network & Security (F/M) **Role Summary** Support sales teams in qualifying projects, drafting technical and commercial responses, estimating effort and pricing, designing and validating network and security architectures, presenting solutions to clients and stakeholders, maintaining current industry knowledge, tracking proposals, contributing to the development and marketing of offerings, and delivering billable consulting services. **Expectations** - Minimum 3 years pre‑sales or architecture experience in a consulting or integration environment. - Advanced degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science or equivalent. - Strong technical competence in networking and security, plus proven communication skills. - Fluent technical English; French proficiency preferred but not mandatory. - Self‑motivated, customer‑oriented, adaptable, precise, proactive, and capable of autonomous work. **Key Responsibilities** - Qualify and scope client projects, identify business and technical requirements. - Produce technical and commercial proposals, estimate effort and costs, and price solutions. - Analyze client environments, challenge assumptions, and recommend optimal architecture designs. - Validate architecture designs with internal expertise teams. - Conduct client and internal presentations and support sales pitches. - Keep abreast of industry trends, maintain close contact with vendors and solution providers. - Track proposal status in collaboration with sales colleagues. - Contribute to the creation, industrialization, and marketing of the company’s services. - Execute billable consulting assignments on specialized expertise and project follow‑up. **Required Skills** - **Networking**: LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi architecture. - **Network Security**: SD‑WAN, SSE, SASE, firewalls, ZTNA. - **Vendor Expertise**: Fortinet, Palo Alto, Extreme Networks, Bastion, etc. - **Integration & Audit**: Solution implementation, system audit, compliance. - **Bid Management**: Public and private tenders. - **Technical Communication**: English technical writing, presentation, and teaching. - **Soft Skills**: Curiosity, service orientation, adaptability, precision, rigor, critical thinking, autonomy, proactivity, strong interpersonal skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor/Master (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Relevant certifications (optional but advantageous): Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSA, Cisco CCNP/CCNA SD‑WAN, Juniper JNCIA, or equivalent.
