Job Description

Job Title: Software Engineer – Full‑Stack Role Summary Build and evolve a freight‑transport platform comprising a Django/DRF API, a React/React‑Native mobile app, and a React web app. Own end‑to‑end feature delivery, from design to production, and mentor junior engineers while maintaining high code quality and performance. Expectations - Work autonomously, delivering features from conception through deployment. - Produce clean, well‑documented code that can be simplified or removed. - Communicate requirements and design decisions clearly in English. - Align with 8‑week development cycles (6 weeks feature build, 2 weeks cooldown). - Participate in continuous deployment using GitHub Actions and feature flags. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain RESTful API endpoints with Python/Django and DRF. - Build reusable UI components and screens using React and React‑Native. - Collaborate with product and design teams to shape feature scope and user experience. - Conduct peer code reviews and enforce best practices across the codebase. - Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers. - Author decision records, technical documentation, and contribution guidelines. - Optimize front‑end performance, reduce bundle size, and improve runtime efficiency. - Troubleshoot, refactor, and improve existing code during cooldown periods. - Ensure seamless integration with PostgreSQL, GCP, and third‑party services. - Maintain CI/CD pipelines, run automated tests, and manage feature toggles. Required Skills - Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and React‑Native (including optimization). - Expertise in Python, Django, Django Rest Framework, and relational database design with PostgreSQL. - Experience deploying to Google Cloud Platform and configuring GitHub Actions workflows. - Solid understanding of REST API design, authentication, and performance considerations. - Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code. - Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment principles. - Excellent written communication in English; speaking proficiency is required. - Minimum 3 + years of full‑stack development experience.
