Junior Data Scientist

Job Description

**Job title:** Junior Data Scientist **Role Summary:** Assist in end‑to‑end data science projects focused on advertising effectiveness and dynamic creative optimization within a data‑driven organization. Deliver analytical solutions that influence product decisions and client outcomes. **Expectations:** - Rapidly acquire domain knowledge and internal data assets. - Demonstrate ownership of project lifecycles from requirement gathering to final insight delivery. - Work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, translating business needs into analytical solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own project life cycles: define scope, milestones, and delivery schedules. - Prepare, cleanse, and engineer data using SQL and Python (Jupyter Notebooks). - Conduct exploratory data analysis, build statistical and machine‑learning models, evaluate and interpret results. - Troubleshoot data and modeling issues, recommend solutions, and iterate on models. - Define problems, success criteria, and key performance indicators for each project. - Produce clear, actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders. - Communicate findings through dashboards, visualizations, and written reports. **Required Skills:** - Programming: Python (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, scikit‑learn, MLlib) and SQL; experience with Snowflake is desirable. - Data wrangling, EDA, feature engineering, and model evaluation. - Statistical methods: regression, sampling, hypothesis testing, distribution properties, weighting. - Machine‑learning fundamentals (classification, regression, clustering). - Problem‑solving, critical thinking, and strong written and verbal communication. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent quantitative field. - Equivalent practical experience or relevant coursework in data science or analytics is acceptable.
