Job Title: Principal Product Manager, Data Innovation
Role Summary: Lead the end‑to‑end strategy, development, and launch of synthetic data and data collaboration product lines, driving adoption, revenue, and market share.
Expectations: Own a multi‑year product vision; translate complex customer and technical problems into clear, data‑backed requirements; collaborate with R&D, data science, commercial, legal, and marketing to execute a high‑impact product line; become the internal subject‑matter expert on AI/ML product lifecycle and synthetic data processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own product vision and roadmap for synthetic data and collaboration solutions.
- Conduct opportunity assessments, prioritize initiatives, and define key KPIs (adoption, revenue, penetration).
- Translate customer insights into comprehensive, data‑supported product requirements.
- Partner with engineering and R&D to navigate technical trade‑offs, ensuring feasibility and quality.
- Develop compelling product stories for senior leadership, product teams, and external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain trustful relationships with cross‑functional teams (R&D, Data Science, Commercial, Legal, Marketing).
- Drive go‑to‑market plans, coordinating launch activities and performance tracking.
Required Skills
- Proven track record of launching and scaling complex data‑centric products, platforms, or services.
- Deep experience managing the full lifecycle of AI/ML products: model building, training, fine‑tuning (LLMs), synthetic data creation, validation, filtering, and alignment methods (SFT, RLHF).
- Strong analytical mindset: data‑driven decision making, customer research, and opportunity validation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication; expert storyteller and senior‑level persuader.
- Skilled stakeholder management across engineering, data science, commercial, legal, and marketing.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: comfort building new categories from scratch.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business or related field (advanced degree, e.g., MBA, preferred).
- Professional product‑management certification (e.g., Pragmatic, AIPMM) or AI/ML certification (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
