Job Title: DevOps Engineer (H/F)
Role Summary:
Backbone of a 5‑person SRE team managing a hybrid infrastructure of bare‑metal servers and AWS IaaS resources. The role focuses on maintaining system health, provisioning developer resources, automating operational tasks, and ensuring high availability, security, and performance of the cloud and on‑prem environment.
Expectations:
- Mastery of Linux system administration and cloud automation.
- Proven experience with IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python; comfortable writing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to monitor and troubleshoot complex distributed systems, applying best practices in DevSecOps.
- Effective communication in English to collaborate with an international team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily maintenance and uptime assurance of servers, clusters, and databases.
- Provision development environments and resources, ensuring smooth deployment workflows.
- Continuous monitoring of performance, availability, and security; rapid incident response.
- System and application patching, keeping environments compliant with security and performance standards.
- Automate repetitive operations to increase efficiency and free time for higher‑value work.
- Collaborate with SRE peers to optimize infrastructure design and share knowledge.
- Evaluate and implement new technical solutions to improve infrastructure resilience.
Required Skills:
- Advanced Linux administration (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
- AWS cloud services (EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch).
- Infrastructure‑as‑Code: Ansible, Terraform.
- Container/Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
- Scripting: Bash, Python.
- CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps principles, security best practices.
- Performance tuning, logging, and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and incident management.
- English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).
Required Education & Certifications:
- Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications optional but desirable: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Red Hat Certified Engineer, or similar DevOps credentials.
