**Job Title:** Cloud Platform Specialist
**Role Summary:**
Senior Platform Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining a secure, scalable, and observability-driven OpenShift/Kubernetes environment. Drives IaC, CI/CD automation, SRE practices, and cross‑team collaboration to achieve zero‑downtime delivery and operational excellence.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver end‑to‑end platform solutions on cloud‑native stack.
- Own IaC, dependency management, and continuous integration pipelines.
- Enforce security best practices and incident response workflows.
- Communicate effectively with engineering and product stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provision, configure, and manage OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters at scale.
- Automate infrastructure and application deployments using Terraform, Ansible, Helm.
- Build, test, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitOps, ArgoCD).
- Integrate secrets management (HashiCorp Vault) and enforce RBAC/least privilege.
- Oversee core data services (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, MinIO).
- Implement event‑driven architectures (Solace, Confluent Kafka).
- Deploy and troubleshoot observability stacks (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Resolve stack‑wide issues (networking, infra, CI/CD, application).
- Contribute to SRE practices: incident response, post‑mortems, reliability metrics.
- Collaborate with dev and product teams to integrate services and support platform usage.
**Required Skills:**
*Technical:*
- 5+ years Platform/DevOps/SRE experience.
- Deep knowledge of OpenShift/Kubernetes deployments, scaling, cluster‑admin tasks.
- IaC expertise: Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Terraform modules.
- CI/CD pipeline engineering: Jenkins, GitOps, ArgoCD.
- Secrets and security: HashiCorp Vault, RBAC, security scanning tools (SonarQube, Veracode).
- Data service management: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, MinIO.
- Event‑driven messaging: Solace, Confluent Kafka.
- Observability: ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana.
- Linux system administration, networking fundamentals, Azure IaaS concepts.

**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications preferred: Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Openshift Admin, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), HashiCorp Terraform Associate, or equivalent security/DevOps credentials.
