**Job Title**
Systems & Software Engineer / Integration Engineer
**Role Summary**
Work on international projects that blend software engineering, system integration, and technical coordination for critical infrastructure. The role balances development, integration, documentation, and client-facing activities with on‑site field work.
**Expactations**
- Analyze requirements and propose optimal technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and integrate sub‑systems using C/C++ and scripting.
- Implement drivers for Compass and other hardware platforms.
- Perform on‑site installations, cabling, and support operations.
- Contribute to configuration management, quality assurance, and documentation.
- Engage with clients through meetings, demos, and on‑site training.
- Coordinate or lead project tasks when required.
- Travel as needed for client sites.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Requirement analysis and solution design.
2. Development of pilots, drivers, and scripts (C/C++, shell, Python).
3. Integration of Compass drivers following equipment documentation.
4. Sub‑system design, integration testing, and validation.
5. Field installation, cabling, and operational support.
6. Configuration management, technical reviews, quality control, reporting.
7. Client communication and on‑site training.
8. Project activity coordination and, when necessary, project leadership.
**Required Skills**
- Proficient in C/C++ and scripting languages.
- Experience with system integration and driver development.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Windows, TCP/IP, SNMP.
- Ability to read, interpret, and produce technical documentation in English.
- Familiarity with modern software development practices and lifecycle.
- Analytical and diagnostic skills for subsystem testing.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel and work in multicultural environments.
- Service‑oriented mindset and teaching ability.
- Knowledge of Compass, Neuralstar, or satellite monitoring environments is a plus.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications preferred: CCNA/CCNP, Linux+, or equivalent software/system engineering credentials.
