Job Description: **Job title**: Embedded Software Engineer **Role Summary**: Design, develop, customize, and debug board‑support packages (BSP) and platform software for automotive SoCs, ensuring seamless integration, performance optimization, and robust system stability across hardware, drivers, OS, and architecture layers. **Expectations**: - Work closely with OEMs and Tier‑1 partners from concept through commercialization. - Provide rapid, hands‑on technical support to customers and internal teams. - Deliver high‑quality BSP solutions that meet product launch deadlines. **Key Responsibilities**: - Design, develop, and customize BSP and platform software. - Debug complex system‑level issues spanning hardware and software boundaries. - Optimize boot flows, performance, and stability. - Support customer integration and product bring‑up through commercialization. - Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external partners. **Required Skills**: - 6+ years embedded/software engineering experience. - 4+ years working with Linux and/or Android. - Strong expertise in BSP, device drivers, and low‑level debugging. - Excellent system‑level issue triage and root‑cause analysis. - Deep understanding of ARM Cortex‑A/X SoC architecture, boot process, MMU/SMMU, and TrustZone. - Direct customer interaction experience. **Preferred Skills**: - Experience with QNX, hypervisors, and RTOS. - Kernel and framework crash debugging (Linux, Android, QNX). - Proficiency with USB, UART, SPI, I²C, PCIe, Ethernet. - Knowledge of clocks, PLLs, GPIOs, interrupts (GIC). - System performance profiling and optimization. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
