Job Title: Head of Network Operations
Role Summary
Lead the Network Operations Center (NOC) to ensure the provision of ultra‑fast, highly reliable broadband across all service areas. Own end‑to‑end network performance, incident response, and capacity planning to meet customer uptime and service level targets.
Expectations
* Deliver continuous, secure, and high‑performance network operations that align with company growth objectives.
* Build and mentor a high‑performing NOC team, establishing best‑practice processes and fostering a culture of accountability.
* Partner with engineering, service delivery, and customer support to translate business requirements into network solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily NOC operations, including monitoring, fault detection, incident triage, and resolution.
* Define and enforce NOC SOPs, escalation paths, and SLA compliance.
* Lead capacity and performance planning, network design reviews, and upgrade projects.
* Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and procurement for network equipment and services.
* Provide regular reporting on network health, incident trends, and improvement initiatives.
* Coordinate with security, compliance, and disaster‑recovery teams to ensure network resilience.
Required Skills
* Deep knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS), switching, SD‑WAN, and MPLS.
* Proven experience leading NOC or network operations teams.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
* Familiarity with ITIL, SOC workflows, and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
Required Education & Certifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
* Professional certifications: CCNA/CCNP or equivalent, BGP Expert, and a network security or SD‑WAN credential.
* PMP, ITIL, or similar process‑management certification is a plus.
