Ecommerce Manager
**Role Summary**
Own the end‑to‑end commercial performance of an ecommerce platform, driving revenue, conversion, and margin growth. Lead daily trading, conversion rate optimisation, product merchandising, and data reporting, translating insights into actionable on‑site improvements and cross‑departmental initiatives.
**Expactations**
- 4–5 years managing high‑traffic ecommerce sites on Shopify or equivalent.
- Proven ROI from CRO tests and merchandising decisions.
- Comfortable owning and reporting on revenue, AOV, conversion, and margin KPIs.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on outcome‑driven actions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Ability to prioritise and execute under pressure with limited guidance.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor and optimise daily trading performance: revenue, conversion, AOV, returns, margin.
- Execute the ecommerce trading calendar: launches, campaigns, peak periods, and promotions.
- Own the CRO roadmap; analyse funnels, prioritize tests on PLPs, PDPs, checkout, content, and device performance.
- Develop, maintain, and audit product merchandising rules, sorting logic, pricing, promotions, and stock visibility.
- Analyse product and category performance to inform positioning, pricing, and promotional strategy.
- Build, maintain, and refresh dashboards and reporting of channel, product, and cohort metrics.
- Provide weekly summaries, forecasting support, and post‑event analysis.
- Act as the ecommerce performance advocate, aligning priorities with Merchandising, Marketing, and Technology teams.
**Required Skills**
- Expertise in Shopify (or equivalent), with experience in MIS, CRO, and merchandising tools (AB Tasty, Nosto, Depict, etc.).
- Advanced data analysis and reporting (Excel, SQL, data visualization).
- CRO strategy and execution; A/B test design, statistical significance, ROI measurement.
- Strong commercial awareness: revenue, margin, stocking, pricing.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder influence, and project management.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Customer‑journey focus: funnel analysis, friction removal, conversion optimisation.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, or related field.
- Optional: Shopify certification, Google Analytics, Data Analysis (Excel/SQL), CRO certification.
