Job Description
Job title: Finance Business Partner Role Summary: Provide analytical insight and strategic financial guidance to senior stakeholders, partnering with Retail & Marketing teams to develop budgets, drive performance, and spot cost optimisation opportunities. Deliver accurate P&L reporting, monthly management accounts, and reconcile financial data to support strategic decisions, board reporting, and lease negotiations. Expections: - Deliver clear financial insights that influence business direction. - Meet tight reporting deadlines while maintaining high accuracy. - Demonstrate initiative and resilience in a fast‑moving environment. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with Retail & Marketing to review budgets, monitor spend, and recommend performance improvements. - Prepare, analyse, and present P&L statements, monthly management accounts, and ad‑hoc reports. - Support FP&A manager with budgeting, reforecasting, and quarterly reforecasting initiatives. - Compile and contribute to board packs, including commentary and financial highlights. - Maintain lease data and support lease renegotiations with the CFO and external parties. - Address audit queries and liaise with auditors. - Present financial insights at quarterly review meetings and stakeholder briefings. Required Skills: - Advanced Excel modelling and data analysis. - Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central and Power BI (preferred). - Strong written and verbal communication with influencing capacity. - Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and logical problem‑solving. - Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure. - Self‑motivated, resilient, and proactive. Required Education & Certifications: - Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
