Job Description: **Job Title** Service Architect – SC Cleared **Role Summary** Design and define the technical architecture for a government service capability, ensuring alignment with customer business needs and government standards. **Expectations** - Deliver comprehensive technical architecture solutions for a 6‑month contract. - Provide expert advice to cross‑functional project teams. - Maintain a durable technical repository for the service community. - Identify and document opportunities for process improvement. **Key Responsibilities** - Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure technical designs. - Review existing and new service requirements, offering guidance on architecture compliance. - Create and update architectural models, documentation, and repository artefacts. - Facilitate workshops with service capability teams to capture insights and validate designs. - Recommend process enhancements to streamline architecture delivery and governance. **Required Skills** - Proven experience in enterprise architecture, technical design, and solution delivery. - Strong knowledge of government IT standards, secure architecture practices, and service‑oriented design. - Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills. - Capability to document and maintain architectural repositories and libraries. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - SC security clearance (mandatory). - Professional architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect) preferred.
