**Job Title**
Release Manager
**Role Summary**
Lead the end‑to‑end release lifecycle for a data‑centric client‑knowledge program. Manage multi‑team, multi‑silo environments using Agile (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices, ensuring timely, high‑quality deployments across cloud and microservices architectures.
**Expectations**
- Deliver releases on schedule while mitigating risks and maintaining governance standards (ITIL, security, compliance).
- Optimize lead time through automation and continuous improvement.
- Communicate transparently with all stakeholders and provide actionable dashboards & KPI reports.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Define and manage the release calendar, aligning priorities across business and technical teams.
2. Coordinate dependencies, risks, and resource allocation for multi‑project release plans.
3. Ensure adherence to governance standards (ITIL v4, security, compliance).
4. Oversee CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitOps) and configuration management.
5. Lead testing coordination, production cut‑over, and mitigation planning.
6. Produce dashboards, KPI metrics, and release status reports.
7. Facilitate stakeholder communication, including release briefs, demos, and post‑mortem reviews.
8. Drive process improvements to reduce lead time and increase automation.
**Required Skills**
- 7+ years of Release Management or complex deployment leadership.
- Proficiency in Agile frameworks, ideally SAFe‑certified.
- Deep knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Git, and automation pipelines.
- Experience with cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and middleware.
- Familiarity with ITIL v4 and best practices for release governance.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder‑management skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: SAFe (SA or SPC), ITIL v4, PMP or PMI‑ACP are preferred.
