Assistant, 300 Entertainment/Atlantic Hip Hop
**Role Summary**
Provide comprehensive administrative and A&R support to the Co‑President of 300 Entertainment’s Hip‑Hop, R&B and Global Music division at Atlantic Records. Facilitate all aspects of talent scouting, session coordination, artist relations, and cross‑department collaboration to streamline the A&R process.

**Key Responsibilities**
1. Manage and schedule meetings, showcases, and calendar appointments for the executive.
2. Coordinate recording sessions, studio bookings, and logistics for artists, producers, and songwriters.
3. Handle travel itineraries, expense reporting, and travel arrangements for A&R staff and artist clients.
4. Act as liaison among label, artists, management companies, and internal departments (marketing, publicity, sales, product, finance, legal).
5. Provide phone, scheduling, and administrative support, including expense reports and studio session coverage.
6. Scout and research new artist, songwriter, and producer talent; review demo submissions and cover shows.
7. Contribute creative ideas, support brainstorming sessions, and present potential artists to the label.
8. Assist in song creation and record production coordination, working with writers, publishers, engineers, and studios.
9. Organize event planning for the department and label, and maintain relationships directly with artists.
10. Compile weekly A&R research reports, attend departmental meetings, and assist in studio session coverage.
**Required Skills**
- Advanced calendar and project management.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Ability to assess and evaluate musical talent.
- Multi‑tasking, time management, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with music industry tools (e.g., Sodatone, Mediabase) is a plus.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in music business, entertainment, or related field preferred.
- Relevant industry experience or equivalent skill set required; previous music‑industry or A&R experience is preferred.
