Job Description
**Job Title:** IT Support Engineer **Role Summary:** Provide first‑line technical support for a 500+ employee organization in a cloud‑first environment. Manage the employee IT lifecycle, maintain core systems, and contribute to ongoing IT projects while delivering proactive, customer‑focused service. **Expactations:** - 1–2 years proven experience in a business IT support or helpdesk role. - Ability to independently own incidents from report to resolution. - Strong communication skills; explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical staff. - Proactive attitude toward continuous learning and process improvement. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver friendly, effective technical support across macOS and Windows platforms. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. - Manage device provisioning, SSO, MDM (Jamf/Intune) and Google Workspace administration. - Prioritize daily tickets while contributing to longer‑term IT projects. - Maintain documentation and knowledge base articles. - Suggest and implement enhancements to improve IT service delivery. **Required Skills:** - Hands‑on support experience with macOS and Windows in a corporate setting. - Familiarity with identity and device management (SSO, Jamf, Intune, Google Workspace). - Basic networking knowledge, AV systems, cloud telephony, and ticketing tools. - Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities. - Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. - Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent. - Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. - Optional certifications: CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Jamf Certified Associate.
