**Job Title**
Systems and Networks Engineer (F/M)
**Role Summary**
Ensure the operational readiness, monitoring, security and continuous improvement of the company’s IT infrastructure, while automating workflows, managing technical projects, supporting clients and enforcing ISO27001 compliance.
**Expectations**
* Minimum 5 years in a similar role.
* Proven expertise administering Windows and Linux servers, VMware virtualisation, network switching/routing, firewall management, and storage solutions.
* Demonstrated scripting and automation knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, Kubernetes).
* Strong analytical skills, proactive technology scouting, and effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Maintain the operational availability and integrity of the infrastructure.
2. Monitor platform performance and respond to incidents, ensuring uptime and security.
3. Design, implement and optimise infrastructure automation processes.
4. Lead or participate in technical projects that shape the IT environment.
5. Provide technical support to clients, track resolution actions and produce status reports.
6. Conduct ongoing technological surveillance and propose improvements.
7. Draft and maintain documentation, and implement ISO27001 processes as part of continuous improvement.
**Required Skills**
* **Server Administration** – Windows & Linux, VMware virtualisation.
* **Networking** – Switching, routing (Cisco, OSPF, BGP), firewall/matrix control.
* **Security** – OpenVAS, ELK, F5, Forti, IPSEC, ISO27001 implementation.
* **Storage** – Disk array management (PureStorage, DELL).
* **Automation & Orchestration** – Ansible, Kubernetes.
* **Scripting** – Python, Bash, PowerShell, Yaml.
* **Problem‑solving, teamwork, and communication skills**.
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Bachelor’s or Engineer’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
* Preferred certifications: VMware Certified Professional, Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or ISO27001 Lead Implementer.
