**Job Title** Cyber Practitioner Development Programme **Role Summary** A structured 18‑month training programme that blends classroom instruction and on‑the‑job experience to equip participants with foundational cyber security skills. Upon successful completion, graduates join a dedicated cyber team and may receive a promotion to a higher salary band, with additional specialist skill payments available thereafter. **Expectations** - Complete all training modules (seminars, lectures, labs, simulations, group projects). - Rotate between technical teams, applying learned skills to real‑world cyber missions. - Demonstrate growth in confidence, technical proficiency, and teamwork. - Adapt to changing environments, prioritise tasks, and maintain professional standards. **Key Responsibilities** - Attend and actively participate in structured training modules. - Collaborate with peers and mentors on projects and simulations. - Rotate through cyber teams, contributing to activities such as adversary communication disruption, vulnerability research, and infrastructure solutions. - Apply knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems to support mission objectives. - Maintain continuous learning and pursue additional training as required. **Required Skills** - Working knowledge of Linux or Windows operating systems. - Strong organisational and prioritisation skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings. - Adaptability to dynamic work environments. - Curiosity and genuine interest in technology. - Basic analytical and problem‑solving abilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum of Maths and English GCSEs at Grade C/4 (or equivalent). - Higher qualifications (e.g., A‑Levels, degree) accepted if maths and English competencies are demonstrated. - No prior technical experience required. **Additional Eligibility** - Must be a British Citizen (or hold dual nationality).
