Job Description

**Job Title:** Director Solutions Delivery **Role Summary:** Lead and stabilize a multi‑team IT, data, and analytics delivery function, overseeing the full lifecycle from solution design to run‑operate services. Provide strategic direction, quality assurance, and a clear escalation path for complex projects and client issues. **Expectations:** Immediate availability; manage 50–60 staff; deliver complex technology and data programmes on time and within budget; maintain stakeholder confidence; drive continuous improvement of delivery and operating models. **Key Responsibilities:** - Full line management of delivery leads and their teams. - Ownership of solution design, build, implementation, and run‑operate phases. - Ensure delivery quality, resource allocation, prioritisation, and risk mitigation. - Act as senior escalation point for complex delivery and client issues. - Facilitate collaboration across technical and domain teams. - Represent delivery in senior leadership and governance forums. - Lead agreed delivery and operating‑model improvement initiatives. **Required Skills:** - Senior leadership experience in IT, data, or analytics delivery (e.g., Director, Head of Delivery, COO‑delivery). - Proven track record delivering complex technology and data programmes. - Strong people‑management capability across multiple delivery teams. - Ability to operate in environments with both project delivery and run‑operate services. - Excellent stakeholder and client engagement skills. - Deep technical fluency (hands‑on expertise not required). - Strong communication, problem‑solving, decision‑making, risk management, and governance skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business or related field. - Preferred certifications: PMP, Prince2, ITIL, or Data‑Analytics specific credentials.
