**Job Title:** Data Manager – HR & Social Management
**Role Summary:**
The Data Manager oversees the governance, quality, and integration of HR data across the organization’s data ecosystem. Responsible for defining data policies, managing database architecture, delivering insights, and ensuring compliance with data protection standards.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver high‑quality, accurate HR data for strategic decision‑making.
- Foster data‑driven culture across cross‑functional teams.
- Drive continuous improvement of data processes and architecture.
- Champion GDPR, data privacy, and security best practices.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Data Governance & Architecture**
- Define and enforce HR data policies and standards.
- Design, create, and administer HR databases and data marts.
- Develop and maintain ETL workflows to ingest new data and indicators into the data lake.
- Optimize existing data models based on ingestion insights.
2. **Data Quality Management**
- Define quality metrics with data stewards and data consumers.
- Implement data quality measurement, monitoring, and remediation plans.
- Report on data quality KPIs and drive corrective actions.
3. **Stakeholder Leadership & Collaboration**
- Educate business and IT stakeholders on data management best practices.
- Serve as liaison with Data Architects, SI teams, DPO, CSIRT, and legal advisors.
- Identify and animate data stewards to sustain data management practices.
4. **Project & Change Management**
- Manage data‑related project deliverables and timelines.
- Drive adoption of new data tools and processes within HR and control functions.
**Required Skills:**
- Proficiency in SQL, relational database design, and ETL/ELT techniques.
- Experience with data integration platforms (e.g., Dataiku, Talend, Informatica).
- Strong knowledge of BI tools (Qlik, Power BI, Tableau).
- Understanding of HRIS, payroll, and other HR data sources.
- Expertise in GDPR, data protection, privacy and security compliance.
- Project management skills, including stakeholder communication and change management.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, HR Analytics, or a related field.
- Certifications in data governance, data management, or privacy (e.g., CDMP, CIPP/E) are a plus.
