Job Description
Job title: Business Development Representative Role Summary: Proactively build market demand for tax compliance solutions, coordinate sales meetings, and support early customer implementation to drive revenue growth. Expactations: - Meet or exceed defined telemarketing and revenue quotas. - Deliver accurate quarterly revenue forecasts and telemarketing performance metrics. - Continuously refine outreach strategies and improve process tools. - Partner with Sales Executives to execute territory plans and achieve pipeline goals. Key Responsibilities: - Prospect and qualify new business opportunities through cold outreach, network events and marketing campaigns. - Arrange and prepare sales meetings with prospective clients, recommending appropriate solutions. - Engage mid‑level and executive contacts to assess needs and demonstrate product value. - Use Salesforce and other CSM tools to track contacts, activities, and pipeline status. - Achieve pipeline creation and revenue targets; report progress to management. - Collaborate with Sales Executives to develop and execute territory plans. - Provide regular forecast reports and telemarketing objective summaries. - Identify and implement process, documentation, and tool improvements to benefit the MDR team. - Support early implementation stages with customers as needed. Required Skills: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. - Proven quota‑based sales experience; ability to exceed targets. - Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. - Ability to confidently engage mid‑level and executive stakeholders. - Self‑motivated, quick learner, creative problem‑solving mindset. - Excellent planning, organizing, prioritization, and multitasking abilities. - Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). - Assertive, persistent outreach style with adaptable communication. - Detail‑oriented, analytical, and process‑improvement focused. - Ability to work onsite; willingness to travel less than 25%. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience). No additional certifications required.
