**Job Title:** AI Productivity Engineer (95% Development / 5% DevOps)
**Role Summary:**
Lead the discovery, experimentation, and integration of AI‑powered code generation and automation tools within a large engineering organization. Drive the adoption of these tools to increase developer productivity while maintaining code quality, maintainability, and operational stability. Act as a change agent, educator, and product owner for AI‑enhanced workflows.
**Expectations:**
* Deliver measurable improvements in delivery speed, deployment frequency, and code quality.
* Complete a full CI/CD & monorepo audit within 3 months; publish guidelines and conduct 30 %+ adoption of new workflows.
* Build and operationalize at least two AI POCs (e.g., KiloCode + review assistance) that demonstrate speed/quality gains.
* Fully industrialize AI tooling across the monorepo, achieve 100 % developer adoption, and reduce code‑to‑prod lead time and rollback rates by 12 months.
* Optimize AI usage budgets through token cost tracking, quota policies, and quarterly audits.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Evaluate and benchmark AI code‑generation platforms (Claude, Gemini, Cursor, KiloCode, etc.).
2. Design, develop, and automate POCs, scripts, and integrations to test and industrialize AI practices in the existing stack (MeteorJS, monorepo, CI/CD).
3. Create training materials, run workshops, and document best‑practice playbooks for internal developers.
4. Measure and report on AI impact using delivery metrics (lead time, deployment frequency, defect density).
5. Collaborate with product managers to align AI‑driven features with roadmap priorities.
6. Identify and implement additional AI‑based process enhancements (test generation, refactor assistance, technical debt detection).
7. Maintain ongoing monitoring, security checks, and compliance documentation for AI integrations.
**Required Skills:**
* 5+ years web development experience (JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React).
* Proven experience deploying AI tooling in a team of >5 developers, with documented impact.
* Strong DevOps mindset: CI/CD pipelines, monorepo management, automated testing.
* Hands‑on with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.) and prompt engineering.
* Excellent documentation, communication, and evangelism abilities.
* Self‑directed, structured, and comfortable driving change/education initiatives.
* Deep technical curiosity and problem‑solving aptitude.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Certifications in cloud DevOps, CI/CD, or AI/ML fundamentals are advantageous but not mandatory.
