Job Description

**Job Title:** Project Engineer **Role Summary** Lead technical implementation of laboratory information systems (LIS/LIMS) and optimize diagnostic workflows for clients in healthcare and life sciences. Act as a primary technical liaison between clients, project teams, and internal departments (e.g., development, sales) to ensure successful project delivery. **Expectations** - Collaborate with project managers and customer service teams to execute LIS implementation and upgrade projects. - Identify and mitigate technical risks, providing status updates to stakeholders. - Prepare technical proposals, documentation, and project plans aligned with client needs. - Manage sub-projects independently, including on-site client support, training, and handover coordination. - Ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. **Key Responsibilities** - Install, configure, and integrate LIS/LIMS software into laboratory workflows. - Document all technical actions, updates, and project milestones in internal systems. - Conduct customer training and provide ongoing technical support post-implementation. - Coordinate handovers between internal teams and external clients. - Support sales teams in preparing technical quotations. **Required Skills** - Proven experience implementing LIS/LIMS for medical laboratory environments. - In-depth knowledge of laboratory processes and healthcare IT standards (HL7, ASTM, IHE). - Proficiency in IT applications, operating systems, networking, and virtualization. - Strong analytical skills for mapping technical workflows and resolving integration issues. - Fluency in Dutch, French, and English for cross-functional communication. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent IT training with experience in medical laboratory systems. - Demonstrated technical expertise in laboratory automation and project management methodologies (agile/waterfall).
