10U Peformance Network Lead
Job Description
**Job Title:** 10U Performance Network Lead **Role Summary:** Lead and manage the national network of 10U Performance Programmes within the LTA Player Pathway. Ensure programmes meet accreditation standards, support coaches and operators, and drive consistent, high‑quality player development to prepare young athletes for the next stage of national performance. **Expectations:** - Serve as primary liaison for the 10U network, providing day‑to‑day guidance and support. - Maintain programme standards, safety, and operational compliance across all centres. - Foster strong relationships with coaches, operators, and internal LTA stakeholders. - Deliver actionable feedback, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee delivery of 10U Performance Programme standards and accreditation requirements. - Conduct regular on‑site visits, assess environments, and provide constructive feedback to coaches and centres. - Develop, implement, and monitor selection, renewal, and strategic planning processes for the network. - Create and maintain performance tracking tools, dashboards, and insight reports to evaluate programme quality and player progress. - Support coach development through observation, feedback, and coordination of CPD/training activities. - Facilitate seamless player transitions from 10U to the 11‑14 national performance stage, coordinating with Regional Player Development Centres. - Collaborate with LTA teams (Pathway Managers, Coaches, County Leads, Performance Analysis, Safeguarding, Coach Education) to ensure aligned delivery. - Contribute to network selection/renewal decisions and drive continuous improvement of the Player Pathway. - Share best practices and learning across the network, RPDCs, counties, and the broader NPP team. **Required Skills:** - Proven leadership and network management experience in sport or youth development. - Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building abilities. - Excellent communication, both verbal and written, with aptitude for delivering constructive feedback. - Analytical skills for monitoring programme performance and interpreting player development data. - Ability to travel nationally for centre visits and attend in‑person meetings. - Knowledge of tennis coaching frameworks and player development pathways (preferred). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Coaching, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant coaching qualifications (e.g., UK Coaching Level 2/3 or equivalent) desirable. - Safeguarding and child protection training certification required.
