Job Description
**Job title** Business Analyst (Contract) **Role Summary** Provide end‑to‑end business analysis for the onboarding of new IT/SaaS solutions within a PLC client environment. Collaborate with Project Management, Solution Architecture, and business stakeholders to define functional and non‑functional requirements, drive RFI/RFP processes, produce benefits assessments, and support the creation of business cases, high‑level and low‑level design documents, and testing plans. **Expectations** - 6‑month contract with potential extension to 2026. - Fully remote; occasional travel to workshops, stakeholder meetings, and vendor sites. - Deliver clear, concise requirements documentation and stakeholder‑approved artefacts. - Act as a liaison between business, IT, and project teams to ensure alignment of solutions and architecture. - Contribute to commercial and licensing discussions, ensuring license implications are captured. - Facilitate testing activities to validate solution fit. **Key Responsibilities** - Coordinate and analyze RFI/RFP activities with shortlisted vendors and systems integrators. - Develop detailed functional/non‑functional requirements using RTM and MoSCoW prioritization. - Produce benefit assessment reports quantifying revenue, cost savings, and cost avoidance. - Bridge communication among business, IT, and project teams, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. - Support Solution Architect in data ingestion and storage design. - Draft technology options assessment papers for Architecture Review Board and Project Governance. - Prepare and refine RFI/RFP documents based on business requirements. - Participate in commercial, licensing, and business case development for Build and Deployment phases. - Assist in creating Low Level Design (LLD) to ensure coherence with approved High Level Design (HLD). - Contribute to testing processes to guarantee sufficient test coverage. **Required Skills** - Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst contractor. - Proven track record in coordinating and analyzing RFI/RFP processes. - Strong stakeholder management, with ability to elicit requirements from technical and non‑technical audiences. - Ability to translate technical information for diverse audiences. - Familiarity with EDMS/Document Management system procurement (desirable). - Lean process, time and motion analysis experience (desirable). - Agile methodology proficiency. - Proficiency in Jira and related business analysis tools. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant business analysis or project management certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI‑ACP, Agile Certified Practitioner) are an asset.
