Job Description
Job Title: Senior Product Manager (Data Collection) Role Summary: Lead the strategy, roadmap, and day‑to‑day ownership of a market research data‑collection platform. Drive continuous improvement of data pipelines, automation, and quality while coordinating with engineering, research, QA, and operations teams to deliver scalable, compliant data workflows. Expactations: Deliver a high‑quality, efficient, and scalable data collection solution that increases productivity, improves data quality, and meets regulatory and client requirements. Maintain a prioritized backlog, define clear product requirements, and achieve measurable KPIs on pipeline performance, data accuracy, and turnaround time. Key Responsibilities: - Own product strategy and roadmap for data collection and processing workflows. - Design and optimize surveys, panels, APIs, and third‑party data integrations. - Define detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. - Manage and prioritize the product backlog in an Agile environment. - Partner with engineering, data, QA, and operations to implement and validate features. - Evaluate and manage third‑party and enterprise data collection tools. - Establish data quality standards, governance policies, and performance monitoring. - Drive automation and AI‑assisted capabilities to enhance data pipeline efficiency. Required Skills: - 6–8+ years of product management experience, 5+ years with data collection/processing platforms. - Proven role as Product Owner for data‑heavy or workflow‑driven software. - Deep understanding of data pipelines, transformations, metadata, and harmonization. - Experience collaborating on APIs, backend services, and data workflows. - Hands‑on experience configuring or adapting enterprise survey or data platforms. - Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills. - Expertise in Agile backlog management and prioritization. - Focus on data quality, reliability, and system performance. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. - Agile or Product Owner certifications (CSM, PMI‑ACP, etc.) preferred.
