Job Description
**Job title:** Experienced JavaScript Developer **Role Summary:** Full‑stack JavaScript developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining internal tools and external APIs that support the game engine team. Works through the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑performance, well‑documented code on time. - Deploy new tools that enable game teams to work efficiently. - Quickly identify, triage, and resolve bugs and issues. - Collaborate openly with cross‑functional teams to resolve technical challenges. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and deploy web applications that serve internal and external stakeholders. - Enhance and maintain existing web tools and internal APIs. - Build integrations with third‑party services and APIs. - Support application deployment pipelines and production environments. - Communicate status, blockers, and solutions to product, QA, and engineering teams. **Required Skills:** - Strong experience in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. - Proficiency with front‑end frameworks such **Vue** and **React**. - Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure acceptable). - Experience with version control systems (Git; Perforce experience is a plus). - Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies. - Comfortable maintaining and extending code written in other languages (e.g., PHP). - Bonus: experience writing serverless functions (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
