Job title: Senior Product Developer – Lingerie & Apparel Role Summary: Own a specific product category and lead end‑to‑end development from design intent through bulk production. Partner with design, technical design, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to deliver products on schedule, on budget, and with the quality and speed required by brand strategy, while maintaining strong influence across global cross‑functional partners. Expactations: Deliver products that meet design vision, cost targets, and timeline requirements. Ensure accurate sample tracking, BOM and costing accuracy, and effective risk and change management. Communicate regularly with design and merchandising to highlight margin issues and drive re‑engineering when needed. Key Responsibilities: - Sample Management: Track, verify, and prioritize samples; resolve accuracy and quality issues; collaborate on pre‑positioned raw materials and substitute decisions. - System & Data Management: Maintain CC charts and BOMs, validate content, run reports, and ensure timely entry of information for cross‑functional workflow. - Costing & Margin Analysis: Build and update cost charts; compare actual costs to past data; negotiate with vendors; identify margin challenges; recommend dual sourcing or cost alternatives. - Product Solution & Factory Coordination: Select appropriate manufacturing partners; monitor production against retail targets; troubleshoot tech pack requirements. - Risk & Change Management: Assess risks, drive change meetings, manage T&A within guidelines, and coordinate with regional teams to implement solutions. - Continuous Improvement: Lead post‑development reviews, identify process gaps, and propose enhancements to accelerate delivery and reduce waste.
