**Job Title:** Production Planner, Accessories
**Role Summary:**
Manages end‑to‑end production and sourcing for high‑volume accessory lines, ensuring seasonal assortments align with brand strategy and speed‑to‑market goals. Provides strategic oversight of multiple product books, drives issue resolution, and leads a small team (0‑1 direct reports).
**Expectations:**
- Maintain accurate order management and timely BPS execution.
- Resolve data, VPO, and tracking issues; escalate when necessary.
- Analyze liabilities, raw‑material (RM) positions, and contract risks; communicate solutions to brand stakeholders.
- Lead capacity and dual‑sourcing planning to mitigate bottlenecks.
- Coach, develop, and evaluate direct reports; oversee onboarding and performance reviews.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Order Management:** Oversee order accuracy, delivery recap, BPS workflow, and weekly order tracking; initiate issue resolution.
2. **Liabilities & Cancellations:** Analyze liabilities, manage RM reconciliation, conduct month‑end reviews, and handle dispute cases.
3. **Capacity Planning:** Project production volumes, assess bottlenecks, coordinate dual sourcing, and manage vendor allocation.
4. **Production Planning:** Validate vendor BOMs, communicate schedules across cross‑functional teams, monitor vendor GNG, and drive weekly product‑readiness meetings.
5. **Cross‑Functional Collaboration:** Liaise with Logistics, DC Ops, Merchandising, Design, Technical Design, Regional teams, Vendors, and Raw‑Material Planning.
6. **Talent Management:** Train new hires, provide coaching, conduct performance reviews, develop Individual Development Plans, and support succession planning.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; risk assessment.
- Advanced knowledge of production planning, sourcing, and supply‑chain processes.
- Proficient in order management systems, BOM validation, and capacity forecasting.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across global, cross‑functional teams.
- Leadership/people‑management experience (coaching, performance management).
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- No specific certifications required; professional experience in production planning/sourcing preferred.
