Job Description
Job Title: Procurement Manager – Marketing & Sales (EU) Role Summary Lead procurement activities for marketing and sales categories across the European market, ensuring effective sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management during a major vendor review initiative. Drive spend optimization, data‑driven decisions, and sustainability integration while supporting cross‑functional projects and maintaining procurement tools. Expectations - Execute category strategy and procurement plans for EU marketing & sales spend. - Manage sourcing cycles (RFI/RFQ), negotiate and finalize supplier contracts. - Contribute to 360° vendor review program and maintain supplier performance metrics. - Analyze spend, pricing, and supplier data to recommend savings and risk mitigation. - Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders to align procurement with corporate objectives. - Promote sustainability in supplier selection and sourcing processes. - Ensure operational excellence of procurement systems, dashboards, and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement sourcing strategies for marketing & sales categories across Europe. - Lead RFI/RFQ processes, evaluate responses, and negotiate terms and conditions. - Build and nurture supplier relationships; monitor and report on supplier performance. - Conduct spend analysis, pricing studies, and supplier performance reviews. - Coordinate with Legal for contract drafting, review, and compliance. - Work with Finance on spend tracking, cost forecasting, and savings reporting. - Engage internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs for projects above spend thresholds. - Incorporate sustainability criteria into supplier selection and contract terms. - Maintain procurement dashboards, tools, and documentation to support decision‑making and compliance. Required Skills - 2–3 years of indirect procurement experience, preferably in marketing & sales categories. - Proven negotiation and contract management abilities. - Strong analytical skills for spend, pricing, and performance data. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English; confident in presenting strategy. - Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑changing, non‑hierarchical environment. - Experience in an international or multinational setting (mandatory). Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field. - Professional procurement certification preferred (CIPS, CPP, or equivalent).
