Job Description
**Job Title:** Promo Strategy and Analytics Intern **Role Summary:** Support the Off‑Trade channel in Belgium by developing and executing promotional strategies that drive volume and margin growth. Work cross‑functionally with revenue management, sales, trade marketing, finance, and key account teams to analyze promo performance, optimize spend and deliver data‑driven insights. **Expectations:** - Deliver a measurable increase in promo ROI and incremental sales for the Off‑Trade channel. - Provide actionable recommendations to reduce inefficiencies and improve future promo planning. - Build credibility as the go‑to person for promo strategy within the Off‑Trade team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and manage the annual Off‑Trade promotion calendar aligned with brand priorities and revenue targets. - Define promotion objectives, guardrails and ensure commercial alignment with revenue management principles. - Lead post‑promo evaluation: calculate ROI, incrementality, and alignment with strategic goals. - Recommend improvements and optimizations based on analysis of internal and external data (Nielsen, sales systems, TPM, PowerBI). - Collaborate with Revenue Management, Sales, Trade Marketing and Finance to plan, execute and optimize promotions. - Coordinate with Key Account Managers to tailor promo mechanics and calendars per customer. - Monitor competitor activity and market shifts to adapt tactics and identify growth opportunities. - Drive standardization of promo planning and reporting processes; ensure accurate investment tracking and budgeting compliance. **Required Skills:** - Strong analytical and quantitative skills; experience in promo analysis, pricing or trade investment optimisation. - Proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, SAP, and data platforms such as Nielsen. - Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder influence abilities. - Self‑starter with strong organisational and multitasking capabilities in a fast‑paced environment. - Bilingual proficiency (English plus Dutch or French); additional language skills are a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related field (Master’s degree a plus). - No specific certifications required, but knowledge of data analysis or finance tools is advantageous.
